Electric cars | Install 280 stations in Chicago

One of the most important cities of United States, Chicago, will give a great leap in terms of adapting to the growing trend of the electricvehicles. By the end of this year will have installed 280 stations load that will be built by the company Exelon.

The sites chosen for these new EV charging stations are strategic locations: the city's two airports, the main shopping centers of Chicago and at various points of resting in the highway Illiniois Tollway. These 280, there will be 2 units that will be powered through solar energy.


The choice of Chicago as a target of these charging stations is no accident. The city is currently one of the 10 largest number of hybrid cars and is expected to continue increasing its fleet of EVs and hybrids.
